Radio Communication is​ a subject concerned with studying wireless communications between the aircraft and ground surveillance units. Radio Communication includes all communications devices on the plane and the ground stations that serve those devices, in addition to knowing the frequencies of the devices and the ranges of their use. It also includes how to perform radio conversations between the aircraft pilot and the ground surveillance units.
