Private Pilot License (PPL)
A private pilot license (PPL), is a type of pilot license that allows the holder to act as pilot in command of an aircraft privately (not for remuneration). The license requirements are determined by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Requirements
- At least 17 years of age.
- A holder of Class 2 medical certificate.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- At least a level 4 English Proficiency.
- Have passed the Theoretical subjects.
- Have passed the skill test.
- Minimum 45 hours of flight training of which not less than 15 must be flown solo.
