Instrument Rating (IR)
It is a qualification that enables the pilot to fly the aircraft relying on the internal meters in the event of a lack of external visibility due to bad weather conditions.
Requirements
- Must pass all the theory subjects for (CPL) with a pass mark 75%
- Practical flying skills test with a CAA approved designated Examiner
- Have passed the skill test.
- Minimum 40 hours of instrument flying:
- 20 hours in a simulator
- 20 hours in an aircraft
