Night Rating (NR)
A night rating allows a pilot to fly at night exercising visual flight rules (VFR). If a pilot wishes to fly at night using instrument flight rules (IFR) they are also required to have an instrument rating.
The night rating is non-expiring as long as the ppl is valid
Requirements
- Hold a valid PPL.
- Must have permit or license with valid medical.
- Have received briefings not less than 5 hours theoretical.
- Have passed the skill test.
- Pass the night rating flying test.
